NEULAND is a 90-minute documentary film on the subject of integration. He accompanied the ups and downs of students and teachers of an integration class in the Switzerland. The film is released from the age of six. We recommend it after eight years or from the third grade up to high school, as he addressed also the career. The languages are German, Swiss-German and Farsi with subtitles in German. NEULAND is an exceptional film experience that offers many opportunities for discussion and integration of the seen in the subject matter. Especially the topics integration, school, learning, education, goals and lifestyles of children, other cultures, cohesion and solidarity are exposed. The film offers various starting points in the subjects German, social studies / civics, religion and ethics.

Movie Description:You have traveled far - by plane, train, bus or boat. Now, the 19-year old Chris, from Afghanistan and the Albanian brothers and sisters Hizen and Ismail in the integration class of teacher Christian Zingg in Basel are landed. In two years they will have the chance to get to know a different language and culture here. A not always easy task, because they do not really good conditions bring. But they have proved already at the beginning of courage and hope for a future in the Switzerland. Chris took the dinghy over the sea and has crossing the mountains on foot to get to the land of his dreams. Hizen and Ismail left their homeland from family green and are now met with the father and his new wife. They all hope to put their past behind them and back to life in a new country. Teacher Christian Zingg makes them but no illusions that it will be difficult for them, will need to find a career in a foreign country. Yet he is not tired to itself and to a better future to strengthen the faith of his pupils and students.

A touching film full of hope that shows authentic how integration can succeed. In doing so, he brings closer the portrayed people and refuted prejudice. The school screening is including attendants free of charge for all students.
